Rex’s practice has been dedicated to helping people in the workplace enhance productivity through a better understanding of themselves. He has done extensive research on the impact of individual working, thinking, personality, leadership, teamwork and communication styles on the working environment. As a behavioral scientist and counselor he has devoted his energies to helping all levels of business people to have an enriched work life whether they be CEOs, vice presidents, managers or professionals. Dr. Gatto consults on matters of organizational effectiveness and talent acquisition, conducts training programs and leads both individual and group counseling sessions.

As a business consultant and lecturer he has presented to business people and professional organizations throughout the United States and Canada. He has received the Outstanding Speaker Award from the American Society of Training and Development acclaiming him as “dynamic” and “thought-provoking”. He has developed customized training workshops for many corporate 500 companies, hospitals, small businesses, universities and colleges, and has trained and facilitated all positional levels of business people. Dr. Gatto has been featured often in the media by, among others, the New York Times, The Business Times, KDKA TV, The Accounting Web, NPR Radio, KQV Radio, Polaris International Quarterly, The Pittsburgh Post Gazette, The Aspen Law and Business Advisory and the St. Paul Pioneer Press, CPA Trendlines and PHRA Perspectives. As a change interventionist he has written and presented for business teams and corporations, helping people achieve an enriched, productive, and enjoyable work life. He is a licensed professional counselor, nationally certified psychologist, cognitive behavioral therapist and national board certified counselor.
