Michael has been a leadership coach, executive advisor, facilitator and change consultant since 1992.

Michael partners with leaders and organizations to create high-performing, self-sustaining teams and productive, innovative work environments. He helps leaders increase their self-awareness through "action learning" so they can choose how best to leverage their strengths to promote employee engagement and collaboration, especially when the leader is in a new or expanded role, has new goals to achieve or is member of a new leadership team.

Acting as coach, advisor, facilitator and tool-giver, Michael helps leaders accelerate their own growth, improve their effectiveness with peers, team members and senior leadership, while reducing stress and increasing resilience. Michael has been selected to work with thousands of leaders across the globe by clients such as Apple, GE Capital, Yahoo!, Cisco, Agilent, eBay, HP, Levi Strauss, Wells Fargo, Kaiser Health System, SGI, and the National Academy of Sciences.

Prior to becoming an Organizational Consultant and Leadership Coach, Michael was a systems engineer, project leader and account executive for Electronic Data Systems (EDS). His eight years of experience there included major system implementations for General Motors’ Financial Division and Blue Shield of California. Michael is the grandson of Kurt Lewin, renowned social scientist and founding father of organizational development.
