Marci Wilf, Founder and President of Valeus Coaching Associates, LLC, focuses on helping clients successfully manage their careers, including navigating career challenges and transitions and developing the leadership, communication and interpersonal skills critical to success. Marci brings to her coaching practice more than 25 years of experience supporting clients and colleagues with her intuition and creative problem solving abilities. She
particularly enjoys working with clients to define their personal vision for “success” and “meaningful” work and to help them explore possibilities.
Marci’s career as a commercial real estate and corporate attorney and as a senior business and HR leader enables her to effectively work with her coaching clients to meet the challenges typically confronted by attorneys and business leaders at all levels and in a wide variety of arenas.
Marci has practiced at both large and small law firms, notably with Blank Rome LLP. She has also held several in-house counsel roles, including Senior Counsel with Kravco-Simon Company, a national retail development and management company, and General Counsel with America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, a large national retail chain, from which she gained a keen understanding of how attorneys can successfully manage the challenges of, and add value in, a business setting.
In 1999, Marci transitioned from attorney to business leader, becoming Vice President of Corporate Administration and Vice President of Human Resources for Advanta Corp., a publicly traded Philadelphia-based financial services company where she honed her management and coaching skills leading several teams totaling more than 75 employees, including 11 direct reports.
In addition to her work with Valeus Coaching Associates, Marci is a Senior Partner at Kelleher Associates, LLC, a boutique career management and executive coaching firm located in suburban Philadelphia, where she focuses on both executive and career transition coaching with professionals and senior executives. Marci also collaborates with Threshold Advisors, a company focused on the legal industry and providing coaching for law firms and lawyers.
Marci earned her B.A. and B.S. degrees from The University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. from the Temple University School of Law. She has completed coursework at the College of Executive Coaching, an International Coaching Federation credentialed coaching training program for professionals with graduate degrees, and is a certified Myers Briggs Practitioner, Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA), and Professional Values Analyst (CPVA). She is also certified in the Adaptiv Resilience Factors Inventory.
Marci is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations and the Philadelphia Human Resources Professional Society.
