Background:
Linda Ruffin has provided coaching, transition and integration, leadership development, employee engagement/team building, career consulting and organizational change for over 25 years. Linda brings her unique presence, passion and professional breadth of experience from many industries and facets of change management to her clients desiring transformation and sustainability.

She co-created the Inner Work for Leaders course while on faculty at the Hoffman Institute. She has coached and trained over 300 leaders at all levels and their teams in a multitude of industries including high tech, financial services, health care, government, retail, and non-profits. A sample of private sector clients include: Microsoft, PWC, Booz Allen, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Banc, T. Rowe Price, PacifiCare Health Systems, Hallmark Intl, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson.

Client Results:

  • Coached a senior female leader newly placed into an all male C suite. Supported transition issues of developing strategies and practices to sustain her confidence and effectiveness in rapid-fire “distrustful” environment. Set short and long term goals to prove her abilities and results, while practicing self care during difficult “on boarding.”
  • Coached a Sr. Consultant in a top tier firm who was transitioning to a new international position. Coached to issues of establishing and building a new team in the Middle East while simultaneously converting former team in U.S. to a new partner. Cultural diversity, new systems, letting go and adaptability were key areas of focus and change.
  • Coached a newly placed leader and their team as one member was passed over. Coached to the disappointment, former alliances and creation of new clearly defined expectations while building trust to effectively increase engagement by all members of the team. Six months later the team outperformed the goals that had been set.
