Karen Radtke brings over 20 years of experience in designing and implementing programs for leaders to achieve organization goals. Her work has included extensive experience with a wide variety of national and global organizations in the areas of top-team strategy planning, merger & acquisition integrations, organizational design and large-scale change, corporate culture initiatives, and executive coaching and development. 

Karen has a unique mix of working inside as an HR functional leader, working for a global consultancy and being an entrepreneur. Most recently in her role at Equity Residential she was a VP and department head of Organization & Talent Development responsible for the staff and function’s deliverables including designing and delivering succession & leadership strategies. 

In 2005 Karen launched Beacon Street Coaching—with the purpose of offering leadership & team coaching and organizational culture & change consulting to senior leaders committed to transforming themselves, their teams and organizations to achieve their goals and keep focused on realizing their purpose.

Prior to starting Beacon Street Coaching Karen was responsible for launching and leading the executive coaching practice of Right Management for organizations based in Illinois and Wisconsin. She was a vice president of this global human capital firm for six and a half years and Right continues to be client of Beacon Street Coaching today.

Education & Certifications

Karen holds an undergraduate (B.A.) degree in Journalism from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota and a graduate (M.A.) degree in Organizational Development from Loyola University of Chicago. Last year she completed a coaching certification in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ). She is also a certified as a professional co-active coach (CPCC) from Coaches Training Institute. Karen has also completed a certification in the Enneagram System. She has also completed extensive courses in transformational leadership curriculum with Landmark Education, 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership and relationship coaching with the Center of Right Relationships.
