Jim possess over 30 years of senior leadership experience as a C-suite executive in a number of public and private sector organizations.  Jim is a seasoned business person who brings a collaborative and teaming leadership style in the execution of strategic and operational performance. He has been successful in blending critical business issues of organizations with individual and departmental objectives across organizational boundaries that address all dimensions of individual and corporate success. 

As an executive coach, Jim combines his corporate management experience with his coaching skills in partnering with C-level executives in developing and bringing clarity to their professional and corporate goals within the cultural context of their work environment. 

His background includes executive responsibility in areas of operations and finance.  Jim started his professional career with Ernst & Young. After seven years in public accounting, he leveraged his accounting background into corporate finance, serving as CFO of The Coca Cola Company’s bottling operations for eight years. His career tenure includes International Operations (Western Europe and Africa) where he spent approximately 10 years with an international engineering design and environmental services firm of 4,000 employees as Senior Vice President and board member. For the past ten years, Mr. Williams has advised CEOs and boards on strategic initiatives and organizational development. 

Jim currently serves on the Career Mentoring Board of International Center for Executive Options. He is a Coach Mentor for Path builders Achieva in Atlanta, which involves one-on-one mentoring of women in organizations who display high-impact executive leadership potential. Jim is one of four founding members of Atlanta CEO Netweavers, a selected group of business leaders participating in a community of sharing and giving relationships guided by a set of principles and values around putting others first. He also serves on the Board of Breakthrough Atlanta, a non-profit program sponsored by The Lovett School in Atlanta, which provides a pathway to college for traditionally underserved Atlanta public school students and hands-on teacher training experience for high school and college students.
