I enjoy coaching C-Suite Executives--Hi-Potential Leaders dealing with complexity and ambiguity. I partner with clients to clarify their direction and guiding principles and leverage their core strengths for maximum impact. Specialties include on-boarding for new roles, relationship effectiveness, empowering teams, embracing change, and balancing work and leisure.
I have lived and breathed many major transitions in my life which have challenged me as well as spurred my personal and professional growth. At 13, I went from being the middle child of three girls to the middle child of eight gaining four step-brothers, a step-sister, and step-father with little preparation. And, being an acquisition not a merger, I had to move and enter a huge high-school knowing only my sister. From this experience, I gained great resilience, experienced cultures colliding, learned about the pros and cons of diversity, and dealt with negotiation and conflict resolution (or not!) These, and many challenges since, have given me wisdom about the gifts of change and adversity and great empathy for my clients' tribulations. Along the way, I learned how to appreciate and work with (not solve) the tensions of stability and change, diplomacy and frankness, caring for individuals and caring for the organization. I bring my whole self to my engagements and invite my clients to do the same.
Elizabeth has been a leader in the financial service and management consulting industries, and has been an interim Executive Director for an educational institution. She has coached CEO's, heads of business units, and middle managers in most industry segments. Elizabeth has taught in several business schools, offers seminars internationally, and presents to national audiences.

Using a strengths-based approach, I help clarify clients' purpose, values and goals in measurable forms. Being a student of polarity thinking, I listen deeply for tensions at play--both within my clients and swirling around them, and try to ease their situation through the lens of both/and possibilities. Taking a wholistic approach, I am comfortable working with all parts of my clients’ lives focused on the present into the future—they decide what that includes. Finally, I believe in a beginning, middle and end for my coaching engagements always encouraging clients to trust their inner wisdom and stay aligned with their purpose and values. Client results include exceeding goals, 60% increase in profitability, sales up 14%, 50% improvement in people engagement, finding or rediscovering passion in their work, navigating successful career transitions and transforming relationships.
I trained as a career counselor right after college and was an HR leader in two financial services companies now run by Bank of America. I then contracted with Right Management doing outplacement coaching and organization development prior to founding my consulting firm. I have been retained as an Interim Executive Director for an educational institution where I got the rich experience of having the buck stop with me--a tremendous eye-opening moment! As an adjunct, I have taught in several business schools, offered seminars internationally, and presented to national audiences. Twenty plus years of my career have been spent as an independent executive coach and OD consultant.
