David Ellzey

David Ellzey is an executive coach, trainer, and author who has worked and studied in the field of human potential and emotional intelligence for thirty years in the U.S and Europe. He specializes in guiding leaders and senior executives to a mindful self-awareness – mastering core leadership skills, and finding their personal style of effective leadership to help drive their organization’s success. 

David’s clients include a range of businesses from Fortune 500 companies to global organizations in fields such as medicine, education, manufacturing, health, media, and finance. Such companies include Discovery Communications, Novartis, The World Bank, Future Business Leaders of America, Gilbert Asset Management, Fresenius North America, and consultancy work for The United Nations Development Programme which directs UN funds in 166 nations. David is a coach certified by the International Federation of Coaches through the global coaching firm, Results Coaching.

Over his twenty year coaching career his clients have ranged from entrepreneurs to global executives. Recent executive coaching clients include General Counsels, Chief Operating Officers, and Senior V.P’s at investment firms with $10-50 billion Assets Under Management. With his passion for inspiring young people, David reached 200,000 U.S. youth with his program on self-esteem and substance abuse prevention, called Growing Up Healthy. He’s keynoted at numerous Youth Leadership Events. 

He is sometimes called an agent of change, because of his gift in assisting leaders to successfully navigate the stress caused by change. Exceptionally talented at helping clients quiet the noisy mind and gain clear thinking, he helps identify obstacles that create limitation. Then with skill and compassion he facilitates the client’s transition to a new confidence in their unique strengths as a leader and taking effective action.
