Carl brings more than 30 years of experience as a senior line manager, a business and strategic consultant as well as an executive coach. Carl has succeeded in collaborating with C-suite executives in financial services, manufacturing, health care, telecommunications, semi-conductor and retail organizations, to realize significant and measurable improvements while aligning organizational culture with stated values and principles.
A few of Carl’s noteworthy projects include the development and coaching of a 360 based competency model to 150 senior executives in a financial services company; the creation of performance measurement systems, “dash boards”, for financial and healthcare organizations; the development and implementation of the cultural components of a six sigma initiative; establishment of customer relationship processes as part of sales focused business process improvement redesigns.
Carl has been involved in founding and/or leading the growth of two successful professional and financial services firms during his career. His senior-level corporate positions have encompassed leading new business startups, divisional turnarounds, supplier and alliance partnerships and enterprise-wide strategic change implementation.
In his latest venture, as President of The Davidson Consulting Group, he has been providing strategic consulting and executive coaching to C-suite executives for over 10 + years. Carl has also been a pro bono Mentor Coach for Women’s Unlimited for the past 7+ years.
Most recently Carl has partnered with executives at Charles Schwab, McKesson, Intuit, Johnson & Johnson, Bio-Rad, VMware, PayPal/Ebay, Fireman’s Fund, The Standard Insurance Company, NORCAL Insurance, Blue-Shield, Disney, and Harris Bank, by focusing on the blending of coaching with business strategies.

- Carl lived in the Bay Area for over 30 years and now resides in the Phoenix area since 2010. He has earned both his B.A. in History and Political Science and his M.S. in Education from Hofstra University.
