An Electrical Engineer from IIT Kanpur, Anil has spent most of his working life, about 25 years, in the corporate world in Leadership and Organization development. During his working career, Anil has consulted with and advised many organizations, from within and from the outside. He has also worked across industries researching, designing and delivering human capital and organizational effectiveness solutions for companies across the globe.
Starting with Modi Xerox in India, as part of the customer service function, he was involved in the Leadership through Quality initiative and was responsible for successfully launching and implementing, the Managing by Facts program in India……a global Xerox initiative. He later moved into management development and at the time of leaving Xerox Anil was the head of Organization Development for India.
Subsequently, Anil was the Corporate Leadership Development Leader for GE in India. There he was responsible for developing leaders across all businesses of GE and was the regional leader for GE Crotonville based in India. In this role he led the implementation of corporate initiatives like Six Sigma, Work Out and CAP in the region. In addition, he led a number of sessions for GE customers helping them with accelerating change, leadership development programs and Six Sigma quality training and certifications. Anil also set up and was the CEO for the IGE Training Company which was focussed on providing learning products and services to GE commercial clients and partners. He led strategic Initiatives as part of the global learning team including being the operating leader for the e-learning Centre of Excellence. He created the e-learning delivery centre for GE which included creating and running large teams of instruction designers, graphic designers and content experts. He was responsible for creating blended curriculum for global GE businesses like Aircraft engines, Power, Medical Systems, Transportation and Power.
Anil then worked as the head of Organization Development at Reliance Infocomm where he was responsible for people development across the enterprise. In this role he helped set up the corporate virtual university and the entire learning processes for the employees and partners.
Subsequently, he headed the learning and people development function for Hewlett Packard BPO globally based out of India. Here he was responsible for creating the learning strategy, developing the training organization and enhancing the knowledge infrastructure, for the business, as well as facilitating organizational effectiveness initiatives across the globe.
His last role was the Global Training leader for the Dell Consumer Support operations. Here his key deliverable was to help improve the Consumer Experience by developing capabilities. Once again he set the strategy and delivery systems based on the competency frameworks for different businesses, to create a robust leadership pipeline.
Since 2008 Anil has been an entrepreneur in the space of organizational and leadership development. He has been actively involved with two start up companies and founded Leadedge in 2012.
Anil has extensive experience in the areas of Strategy, Leadership Development and Executive Coaching, Training and Six Sigma. He also has experience in managing large global teams, managing functions, customer service and operations in large companies and startups. He is an expert in the Leadership of Change and Transformation. He is familiar with all aspects of organization development and has extensive experience and exposure to developing and implementing programs which make a significant impact to the business and the individuals.
Over the last few years Anil has consulted with clients like: Accenture, Cognizant, Nokia Siemens Network, Timken, Deutsche Bank, Intel, Dr Reddy Limited, Bank of America, Cisco, Fidelity, HP, Vodafone, Nomura, Genpact, EMC, Sony, GE, Infosys and Cairn.
