Alex Durand.jpg

Alex is an Executive/Team/Emerging Leadership Coach who helps his clients find personal fulfillment through purposeful work. After graduating from college he joined one of the Big Four as a consultant. Upon feeling his soul wilt away, he quit his cozy, corporate job to start his own business, Frable Consulting (Fr'able being a combination of Forever + Able), which focuses on serving individuals and organizational teams who have a desire for professional growth/change. His calling is helping others find their authentic path. He works with his clients to unearth their strengths, mental models, habits and decision-making patterns to help them (re)align their behaviors with their values. He is energized by enhancing adaptable emerging leadership practices, nurturing organizational groups evolution into teams, and working with individuals to help them develop a life of fulfilling work. He draws heavily from neuroscience, positive psychology, complexity science, quantum mechanics, and Gestalt OSD to build his coaching practice and philosophy.

Alex grew up as a third culture kid as a part of an expat family that moved all over the world. Over the years he’s lived in Boston, Mexico City, Santiago, Istanbul, Brussels and currently resides in Washington, D.C.

He is an avid Bikram Yoga and Heartfulness practitioner, reader, amateur novelist & writer, and home cook. He does most of his work virtually from his home in Washington, D.C. Connect with him via Twitter @CoachFrable, or learn more at
